“The System” by Tariq Lotfy and Ahmed Al-Fishawy in 7 Arab countries

Today, Thursday, February 22, the movie “The System,” starring Tariq Lotfy , Ahmed El-Fishawy, and Nisreen Tafesh , began showing in cinemas in 7 Arab countries, after it was released in Egypt nearly three weeks ago.

It will be shown in 227 Arab theaters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Iraq, where it will be shown in 51 Saudi, 30 Emirati, 17 Kuwaiti, 11 theaters in Qatar, 7 theaters in Iraq and Bahrain, and finally 4 theaters in the Sultanate. Amman, the film's producer, Karim El-Sherbini, confirmed that the film will also be shown in Jordan and Lebanon during the coming period, and their details will be announced later.

The movie “The System” is a social story that revolves around a young man who suffers from a complex towards beautiful women due to an accident in his life. Ahmed Al-Fishawy plays the role of this young man, while Basant Shawqi plays the role of a girl who resents men because of her many failed experiences with them. The lives of these characters intersect and events develop. Within the framework of the story, interesting details are revealed about their relationships and how they deal with their complexes and past experiences.

Ahmed Al-Fishawy in the special presentation of “Al-System” Artist Ahmed El-Fishawy said at the special screening of his new movie, “The System,” which was held on Tuesday evening: The movie is a romantic comedy, and its idea is similar to two foreign movies: Crazy Stupid Love and Hetch.

He added: The story of the film revolves around the hero who does not know how to deal with girls or women. He seeks the help of his friend to teach him how to deal with them, chooses actions for him that will make the girl admire him, and warns him against other actions that might make her run away from him or not care about him.

Al-Fishawy pointed out that “The System” is his second film with Tariq Lotfy after the film “123” in which he was a guest of honor, and they met him in only 3 scenes, and he has since hoped to meet him in a larger work.

Regarding his relationship with Tariq Lotfy, he said: Our relationship is special. He is a true artist who changes his skin from one role to another. He surprised me in this movie, and I believe that the audience will be impressed by him as we were all impressed by him.

Al-Fishawy concluded his speech by saying: “The System” has a special fondness in my heart, because it is the first Egyptian director by his friend Ahmed Al-Bandari, and it is also the first romantic comedy film that he presents to the public.
