This is why Latifa chose the song "The Factory of Men" in honor of Mohamed Rahim

The artist Latifa participated in the ceremony honoring the late musician Mohamed Rahim, which was held at the Egyptian Opera House and was titled “A Night of Love and Honor... Mohamed Rahim.”

The evening was held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, and organized by the Association of Authors, Composers and Publishers, headed by Dr. Medhat El Adl.

Latifa presents “Men’s Factory” for this reason Latifa concluded the ceremony with the national song that brought her together with the deceased in 2014, called “The Factory of Men.”

Regarding the reason for choosing this song, Latifa said: “During the preparations, I noticed that my colleagues focused on presenting emotional and romantic songs that they collaborated on with Mohamed Rahim, so I decided to present a patriotic song that highlights the patriotic side of his career. The song ‘The Factory of Men’ was dedicated to the Egyptian army and reflects Rahim’s creativity in presenting successful patriotic works alongside emotional songs.”

Latifa also expressed her pride in working with Mohamed Rahim, describing him as one of the most prominent creators of the current era, saying: “Mohamed Rahim was a distinctive mark in Egyptian and Arabic music, and left a great artistic legacy that will remain immortal in the memory of the audience.”

The ceremony began with the national anthem and a documentary film showing the most important stages of Mohamed Rahim's career. Dr. Medhat El Adl gave an opening speech, followed by a speech by Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, who honored the family of the deceased and presented the honorary shield to his wife, Anous Kote.

The artistic program was full of distinctive performances that brought together the most prominent works of Mohamed Rahim, as the orchestra and choir opened with a medley of famous songs such as “Habibi Wala Ala Balo”, “Law Ashqani”, “Masha’er”, and “Ana Fel Gharam”.

This was followed by the appearance of singer Mohamed Tharwat with the song "Ya Mosta'ajil Faraqi", which renewed his collaboration with Rahim after an absence.

The ceremony also witnessed the artist Tamer Hosny performing the song "Yerouh El Bahr" with "Mas", the daughter of the late musician.

The artist Shaza also performed the song "Ana Qalbi Eshaanhu Melted", and the singer Soma performed the song "Qabalna".

The singer Mohamed Mohie also presented the songs "Why Do They Think of Me About You" and "You Who Are Absent From Me"

He was followed by artist Ehab Tawfik with a medley of "Ya Salam" and "Elli Madobni". The concert concluded with Latifa, who dazzled the audience with her performance of the song "Masna' El Regala".

The ceremony concluded with the participating stars gathering on stage to perform the song “The Most Beautiful Name in Existence, O Egypt”
