Video: Queen Rania Al Abdullah supports women activists in Sahab

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah hosted a private luncheon yesterday in Sahab, which brought together a group of women active in the social, cultural and educational fields.

Queen Rania meets with active women from Sahab During the meeting, Her Majesty listened to a summary presented by Sahab Governor Dr. Ali Mawas and its Mayor Dr. Abbas Al-Maharmeh, regarding the allocation of part of the municipal stadium to establish a walkway and recreational spaces designated for families.

Her Majesty the Queen thanked the ladies for the special reception and stressed the importance of their efforts to serve the local community and strengthen social cohesion.

Royal message during the meeting During the meeting, Her Majesty Queen Rania spoke about the challenges that the past year witnessed, pointing to the difficult conditions that our brothers in Gaza and the West Bank are going through.

Her Majesty affirmed that Jordan will remain steadfast in the values of humanity and giving that characterize its society, saying: “We used to think that the world looked at people with equal standards, but unfortunately we discovered that there are different standards.”

She also expressed her gratitude for the blessings that God has bestowed upon her, referring to her granddaughter Iman, whom she described as the “sweetest blessing” in her life this year.

Her Majesty concluded the meeting with a message of optimism and hope for a new year that brings goodness to Jordanian families, wishing for the continuation of the social cohesion and solidarity that characterizes Jordan and its people.
