Wafaa Al Kilani said in press statements: "My absence was due to circumstances I was going through. We all go through health conditions that might not be pleasant, and we go through them. We also go through family circumstances that don't necessarily involve me and my husband. Leave him alone."

Wafaa Al Kilani talked about her husband, Taim Hassan's Ramadan 2025 series, saying: "If you ask me, I'll tell you that it's the best series I've seen this Ramadan. Taim is definitely an actor, we don't need to tell him who he is. His artistic value is great and very high."

Wafaa Al Kilani's marriages Wafaa Al Kilani married Tony Mikhail in a civil marriage in Cyprus in 2008. They were then married again in Egypt by a sheikh after Tony converted to Islam. The marriage lasted until July 2016, when the divorce was announced.
