Both actress Hoda El Mufti and actor Ahmed Malek expressed their happiness with the reactions after the first episodes of their new series “El Habayeb Restaurant” were shown.

During their meeting with the Emirati platform, Speciale, the duo revealed the backstage of this work, as Hoda El Mufti revealed the secret behind her choice of the song “Shababik” by artist Mohamed Mounir in a post on her personal page on Instagram as an advertisement for one of the series’ photos.

Hoda El Mufti reveals the relationship between the song "Shababik" and the series Hoda El Mufti said, “I chose this song because the relationship between the two heroes, Sobhi and Wedida, is similar to the song, and the whole story revolves around them both, because the series has many stories, but in the end we discover that the idea is in them both.”

The series "Al Habayeb Restaurant" starring Ahmed Malek, Hoda El Mufti, Bayoumi Fouad, Entesar, Islam Ibrahim, Hamza El Eili, Sami Maghawry, and a number of artists who participate as guests of honor. The work is written by Mariam Naoum and the Sard Workshop, directed by Essam Abdel Hamid, and produced by Abdullah Abu Al Fotouh.

The events revolve around Chef Abu Al-Majd, who left his job at a famous satellite channel and decided to open his own restaurant. Abu Al-Majd begins searching for chefs to work with him and meets Sobhi, a young man who works on a liver cart. At first, Sobhi refuses to work at Abu Al-Majd's restaurant because he was going to open his own restaurant, but after he fails to achieve his dream, he returns to work at Al-Habayeb Restaurant and forms a special work team.

As for "Didi", she is "Abu Al-Majd's" daughter and a "taste expert". After she participates in a "cooking" competition and causes the judging panel to get food poisoning, she is forced to work in her father's restaurant and discovers a big secret.
