French star Kylian Mbappé continues to shine in his first season with Real Madrid, achieving impressive numbers that could place him among the club's legends. He scored two more goals, bringing his tally to 31, putting him on the verge of breaking all-time records.

On the other hand, Mbappé is close to surpassing the record of Chilean Ivan Zamorano, who scored about 37 goals in his first season (1992-1993), and is also chasing Cristiano Ronaldo's record, who scored about 33 goals in his first season (2009-2010).

According to the Spanish newspaper AS, the French star could reach 42-47 goals by the end of the season with Real Madrid if he continues to participate regularly.

Although he is close to Cristiano's scoring record, the latter only scored it in 35 matches, while Mbappé needed 44 matches to reach around 31 goals.

On average, Cristiano scores 0.94 goals per game (every 88.3 minutes), compared to Mbappé, who scores 0.7 goals per game (every 118.6 minutes).

In this context, Mbappé's tally in the Spanish league has reached nearly 20 goals, closing in on Robert Lewandowski, who leads the league with 22 goals, although the latter has a game in hand. The French star has also already surpassed Ronaldo, who scored 30 goals in his first season with Los Blancos.

With only a few rounds left in the season, Mbappé has the opportunity to further enhance his record and achieve an achievement that could make him the true successor to Real Madrid's legends.
