Yousra commemorates the death anniversary of Hesham Selim

The artist, Yousra, commemorated the second anniversary of the death of the artist, Hesham Selim. Yousra published a photo of her with the deceased and commented on it, saying: “Time passes while you are living with us with your sweet spirit. We miss you so much. I am unable to describe to you the emptiness we are in after you, my love.”

Yousra added: "Your good reputation is always on everyone's lips, and people are always talking about you to this day."

She concluded by saying: “May God have mercy on you and grant you Paradise and give our hearts patience to bear your loss, O most precious of people.”

Hesham Selim is the brother of Yousra's husband Khaled Selim. He died in 2022 at the age of 64 after a long struggle with lung cancer. He had hidden his illness from everyone around him.

Acting from childhood to death Saleem's first role was as a child in the movie "Empire M" with the artist Faten Hamama and Ahmed Mazhar in 1972.

He also participated in the movie "I Want a Solution" with Faten Hamama and Rushdi Abaza in 1975 and the movie "The Return of the Prodigal Son" with the artist Majida Al Roumi and Hoda Sultan in 1976.

He continued his studies at the Institute of Tourism and Hotels and graduated in 1981. He then studied art at the Royal Academy in London.

His participation in the movie "Forgery of Official Documents" with Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Mervat Amin in 1984 was the beginning of his return to acting. In the same year, he participated in the movie "Don't Ask Me Who I Am", Shadia's last movie.

His films also include: “May God Protect You”, “Years of Danger”, “Fingerprints on the Water”, “Ragab the Monster”, “Hours of Panic”, “Revenge”, “The Scoundrels”, “The Ruffians”, “The Last Visit”, “A Man for This Time”, “Call of Blood”, “The Played”, the film “Al-Jawhari Alley” and others.

In addition to television works such as: Layali El Helmeya, Arabesque, Al Raya Al Bayda, A Woman from the Era of Love, and his latest work was in the series “Haggma Murtad.”
